  It is an association that was formed in order to protect cultural heritage all over the world, both in times of peace, during and aftermath of conflict with the collaboration of national and international universities,-NGOs-public-local-civic and private institutions in 2006 İstanbul/TURKEY.

  It is the volunteer, non-profit making and non-governmental Association.

  FOCUH became “Member Organization” of Pan-European Federation for Cultural Heritage (EUROPA NOSTRA), The Hague, The Netherlands since May, 18, 2006. http://www.europanostra.org

  It was elected as one of the members of the Scientific Committee of “11th, 12.nd, 13.rd and 14.th, 15th, 16 th International Congress “Cultural Heritage and New Technologies-Workshop Archeology and Computer“ organized on 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 in Vienna, Austria http://www.stadtarchaeologie.at

• PROJECT COORDINATOR

  Saadet GUNER, (Ms): FOCUH) Turkish, economist, and chief retired from General Directorate of the Foreign Relations of the Central Bank of The Republic of Turkey in 1998. She is dealing with the negative and positive factors in the sustainable development of the countries, such as wars, terrorism and protection of the cultural heritage since 1996. From 2000, she designed and coordinated five Projects in Turkey for unemployed and destitute persons within the frame work of the Social Risk Mitigation Project (SRMP) of the World Bank. From 2005, she is elected President of the Executive Board of the Friends of Cultural Heritage (FOCUH) which is the directed four EC Projects in Turkey as beneficiary or partner.
